What is NAB?

The National Accountability Bureau, commonly known as NAB, is an autonomous federal institution in Pakistan. Its primary objective is to combat corruption and ensure transparency in government institutions. NAB operates under the National Accountability Ordinance, 1999, and its mission is to eradicate corruption from the country by adopting a holistic approach.

NAB's Role in Pakistan

NAB plays a pivotal role in promoting good governance and ensuring accountability among public officials. It investigates corruption cases, holds inquiries, and prosecutes individuals involved in corrupt practices. Its mission is to recover embezzled funds and assets, making it an essential entity in Pakistan's drive against corruption.

Important Notes / Terms & Conditions

• Experience / Educational qualification shall be counted/examined as on the closing date for receipt of applications.
• Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for a test/interview, after the security of applications.

• Candidates having foreign experience and additional qualifications shall be preferred.

These posts are for specified station(s) and non-transferable.

• Hiring will be governed by the terms of the hiring contract.
• Candidates possessing dual/foreign nationality are not eligible to apply.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for appearance.

• Final Selection will be subject to security clearance.
• The monthly fee is taxable as per Federal Govt. policy.
