Dubai Launches New Gaming Visa

Dubai has just launched a new Gaming Visa Initiative that aims to attract talented gamers from across the globe with long-term visas. This move also aims to make Dubai a major player in the global gaming industry.

New Gaming Visa Initiative Requirements

In order to hold the Creative and Talented Accreditation Certificate, persons are required to submit their application through the official website. Soon after, they will receive email notifications regarding the status of their application. After being approved, the certificate will be issued to them.

Another requirement for obtaining the Creative and Talented Accreditation Certificate is being at least 25 years old. Those interested are required to submit a copy of their passport and their professional CV. Here are all the documents required for the application:

1. Passport copy.
2. Educational qualification.
3. Proof of contribution to the gaming community (optional).
4. Desired job roles.
5. Residence permits / EIDs (if available).
6. A relevant CV.
7. Additional personal details such as residence, workplace, etc.

Gamers interested in the program will have to apply through the official Dubai Gaming Initiative website.

Dubai Introduced New Platform to Reduce Visa Processing Times to Just Five Days

As part of efforts to reduce processing time for acquiring work permits as well as residency visas, authorities in the UAE earlier this year introduced the “Work Bundle” platform, which aims to reduce the processing time needed to complete all the required documents to acquire UAE work permits and residency visas.
