Upcoming Sci-Fi Movies 2027 & 2028: Official Trailers & First-Look Videos
Movie trailers are one of the best ways for fans to get an early look at upcoming science-fiction films. However, because many 2027 and 2028 movies are still in production, official trailers are not yet available for every title.

1. Godzilla x Kong: Supernova — Official Video

Sony Pictures Animation has officially confirmed Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse for theaters on June 18, 2027. The film continues Miles Morales' multiverse adventure.

4. A Quiet Place Part III — Trailer

A Quiet Place Part III is the next installment in the popular horror/sci-fi franchise. Current listings identify it as a sci-fi, horror, mystery and thriller movie.

Note: Do not use fan-made “concept trailers” as official Paramount trailers.
5. The Great Beyond — Trailer Updates
Expected Release Date: October 1, 2027
The Great Beyond is a science-fiction/fantasy project directed by J.J. Abrams and starring Glen Powell, Jenna Ortega, Samuel L. Jackson and other major actors.
A third-party trailer listing currently identifies an HD trailer, but because official studio availability can change, readers should verify the video through Warner Bros. Pictures or the film's official channels before treating it as an official studio trailer.
Trailer status: Verify official studio release before labeling any third-party video as an “official trailer.”
6. Avengers: Secret Wars — Official Trailer Status
Expected Release Date: December 17, 2027
Avengers: Secret Wars is expected to be one of Marvel Studios' biggest upcoming movies and a major event in the MCU's multiverse storyline.
Current reporting confirms Samuel L. Jackson's expected return as Nick Fury for a future Avengers movie believed to be Secret Wars.
Trailer status: Full official Avengers: Secret Wars trailer has not yet been released.
SEO tip: Do not add a YouTube “Secret Wars trailer” unless it comes from an official Marvel/Disney channel. Many online versions are fan-made, concept or AI-generated trailers.
