Disbursement of Pay and Pension in Advance April 2020 Punjab Govt

 

In the wake of 1st, 2nd & 3rd May 2020 (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) Government granted holidays. Governor of Punjab is pleased to approve that pay & pension of Government employees  Pensioners of Government of Punjab may be disbursed on 30th April 2020 as provided in Note-1 below Rule 5.1 (1) (a) Punjab Financial Rules Vol-1.

2. You are requested to take further necessary action accordingly for the establishment of pay & pension on 30th April 2020 positively.

Detail of Closing Days

• 1st May 2020 (Friday) Labour Day
• 2nd May 2020 (Saturday) Week-End
• 3rd May 2020 (Sunday) Week-End

Keeping in the wake the three consecutive holidays by Bank, they will pay the salary on 30th April 2020 (Thursday).
