Samsung Galaxy A37 Review: The Only Mid-Ranger You Need in 2026?

What we mean to say is that the Galaxy A37 hasn't really changed that much compared to the A36. The most obvious shift is arguably the move from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset last year to a Samsung-made Exynos 1480 this year. Other than that, Samsung basically designed a few new colors and called it a day. Another way to look at it is that Samsung is basically re-releasing a slightly tweaked version of the Galaxy A55 from 2024 in the face of the A37.

Display & Design: The "Vision Booster" Era

  1. The Panel: A 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

  2. Brightness Leap: It now hits 1,900 nits peak brightness. This is a massive jump from last year, making the screen perfectly visible even under direct, harsh sunlight.

  3. Premium Build: For the first time, the A37 features Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both the front and back, paired with an IP68 rating (dust and water resistance). It feels like an S-series flagship in the hand.

  4. New Design: It moves away from the individual lens look to a pill-shaped camera island, giving it a distinct 2026 identity.

⚙️ Performance: Optimized for Cooling

  1. The Chipset: Powered by the Exynos 1480 (4nm). While not as fast as the S26, it offers a 12% CPU and 19% GPU boost over the A36.

  2. Gaming focus: It features a 13% larger Vapor Chamber. This means you can play PUBG or Genshin Impact for longer periods without the phone getting hot or lagging.

  3. Memory: Available in 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5X RAM with 128GB/256GB storage options. Note: The storage is non-expandable this year (no microSD slot).

📸 Camera: Pro-Grade "Nightography"

  1. Primary Sensor: A 50MP Sony IMX906 (1/1.56") with OIS. This sensor is significantly larger than previous A-series sensors, allowing for much better low-light shots.

  2. Video: Supports 4K @ 30fps on both the front and back cameras. The new Super HDR video provides much better colors in high-contrast scenes (like sunsets).

  3. AI Editing: Built-in "Awesome Intelligence" features like Object Eraser (remove people from backgrounds) and Voice Transcription in the recorder app.

🔋 Battery: The 45W Breakthrough

  1. Capacity: 5,000mAh.

  2. The Change: It finally supports 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0. You can now get a 60% charge in just 30 minutes.

  3. Efficiency: Thanks to the 4nm chip and One UI 8.5 optimizations, Samsung claims up to 29 hours of video playback or 2 full days of moderate use.

📝 The "Expert Verdict" (For your Blog Conclusion)

The Good:

  1. 6 Years of Updates: Guaranteed OS and security updates until 2032—unbeatable in this price bracket.

  2. Flagship Durability: IP68 and Victus+ glass make it the most durable mid-ranger on the market.

  3. Display: The 1,900-nit screen is arguably the best in its class.

The Bad:

  1. Price Hike: Starting at $449 (Approx. Rs. 123,999/- (Expected) Pakistan, it is more expensive than the A36 was at launch.

  2. No Charger: Still no power brick in the box.

  3. No MicroSD: You are stuck with the internal storage you buy.

Final Thought:

"The Galaxy A37 is the phone for the person who wants the Samsung Flagship Experience without paying $1,000. It’s the most balanced smartphone Samsung has released in years."
